April 2019
Celebrating Earth Day in Chicago
Earth Month is considered April and Earth Day is April 22!
Due to the timing of Easter Weekend and resultant family vacations however, several Earth Day events will be held on other days this year.
In honor of Earth Day 2019, Net Impact Chicago (NIC) would like to highlight several local happenings that we encourage the NIC community to participate in around this special time. From volunteering to clean up our parks and neighborhoods, to films, and indoor celebrations, there are activities aplenty. Some are listed below, in date order.
Please click on the provided respective links for more information. "RSVP" indicates need to reserve prior online to attend, and $ indicates a paid event. Unless stated otherwise, events are arranged by their respective organizers and not by NIC. Many others can be found at the community-crowdsourced Chicago Sustainability Leaders' Network (CSLN) Facebook calendar and at MWRD Commissioner Josina Morita's Earth Month calendar
