Nurul Eusufzai, 2017-Present
Nurul Eusufzai is a Net Impact Lifetime member who has extensive experience in the global private sector and a growing interest in the environmental, economic, and human dimensions of solidarity, sustainability & regeneration. Nurul is currently a consultant with an engineering background. The scope of his work includes business transformation, program and project management, digital/physical service design, and quality/tech/data analysis. His community activity includes work for ChiCommons, the IL Task Force on Social Innovation, the Chicago Sustainability Leaders' Network, and various Syracuse University orgs. Nurul convenes diverse and inclusive groups to understand/address our challenges and have fun in the process!
Edward Byrne, 2018-Present
Ed has spent the first three years of his career in the financial services industry. Ed started as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch where he focused on sustainable / value based investing for clients in the Chicago land area. In 2019, Ed joined Morningstar as a sales consultant on their mid-market accounts team. Ed serves wealth management executives within the portfolio analytics and data sourcing realm of their practice. Ed is a member of the Morningstar Allies ERG, where he helped launch a series of interviews with Morningstar executives regarding their perspective on diversity, equity, and belonging within the firm and finance industry as a whole. Ed is passionate about learning, future of work, networking, travel, and training for marathons.
Brenda Christopher, 2021-Present
Brenda’s involvement with Net Impact began with the Mendoza School of Business chapter while getting her MBA at Notre Dame. The commitment to social responsibility in business resonated with her and stayed with her through her post-MBA role as a software product manager at IBM. After IBM, Brenda was fortunate to find a role that combines her professional expertise in product management with the ability to contribute to the future of clean energy at Advanced Energy Economy (AEE). Brenda credits her Net Impact Chicago leadership role with helping her make the jump to a mission-driven organization. In her free time, Brenda enjoys running, skiing, and Notre Dame football.
Ariana Oberhelman, 2022-Present
Ariana is an environmental health science professional who recently graduated with a Masters in Public Health specifically focusing on Environmental Systems and Human Health from Oregon Health and Science University. This focus allowed Ariana to learn about public health issues through a climate change lens. The intersection of the environment and human health has been a long time interest of hers. Ariana has worked with non-profits, fortune 500 companies, and in the technology space in the Bay Area, California. In her free time she enjoys traveling, home projects, and spending time with her family.
