Image from Net Impact Chicago
Blooming Out All Over
As we appreciate another late Spring, we are also observing extreme climate events, and eager to take personal and professional action. We appreciated our friends at Chicago Climate Connect, fellow Net Impacters, and others that joined us at our April event on sustainable food systems. This was our first in-person event in months - read on below for a recap!
May was Asian-American Pacific-Islander Heritage and also Jewish American Heritage Month. June is LGBTQ+ Pride and Caribbean American Heritage and Immigrant Heritage Month. Join Net Impact Chicago for our next in person event on June 29th, and see below for more opportunities to improve your knowledge and network!
NET IMPACT CHICAGO APRIL EVENT RECAP
On April 24th, Net Impact Chicago collaborated with Chicago Climate Connect for an engaging panel and networking event. The topic: discussion on the innovations and challenges of building sustainable food systems in Chicago. We networked and connected with fellow climate enthusiasts and experts dedicated to forging a greener future. Panelists included Rodger Cooley, Executive Director at Chicago Food Policy Action Council; Ilana Braverman, COO at Greener by Default; and Bob Schultz, Co-founder of Mez Foods. Check them out as interesting folks to follow and connect with in Chicago!
