Climate Change. Environmental Justice. Careers and Jobs.  With the conclusion of the UN Climate Summit (COP26) in Scotland, it seems that these huge issues may be too big to tackle globally.  But what if there were a way to act on a local level to not only reduce carbon emissions, but also improve environmental justice, equity and develop a clean energy economy that generates thousands of career-track jobs in a variety of fields and locations?  Join Net Impact Chicago for the epic tale of how the state of Illinois fought to shape and pass what’s being called the most equitable clean energy jobs bill of its kind in the nation.  We’ll learn about why the Act is so important and the benefits for the public and for those interested in sustainable careers.
